I have really enjoyed your last 3 images. I would never have thought of this order of using media; it works beautifully. The results have an ethereal quality that reminds me of your vellum work. I admire the way details peek through/disappear and the subtlety of color and texture. I am excited that you are finding your own unique way of expression by following what you like and setting aside what you don't. That takes a small amount of faith and courage.
